Adams & Broomfield were in court on 3/6/08 for organizing a dogfight at Bellemeade Park.  Some 300 people were found standing in a large circle watching 2 pitbulls fight near the Carver-Ridley Rollerdome parking lot.

 (Photo courtesy of 14 Wfie News)  Adams posted a $1500 cash bond, and released.  He faces a preliminary charge of having an animal fighting contest is next court date is March 13th.

   (Photo courtesy of 14 Wfie News)  Broomfield faces preliminary felony charges of carrying a handgun within 1000 fee of a school and for having an animal fighting contest.  His next court date is April 17th.  Broomfield remains in jail with bond set at $30,000 property or $3,000 cash.

The dogs are being held in a 10 day quarantine at the Animal Control Shelter.  Their future will be decided by the Animal Care & Control Commission.
