Severely injuring a kitten

Adkins, age 45 of Hoover St. was arrested and taken to the Pasco County jail in Land 0'Lakes in lieu of $35,000 bail.

Adkins broke into his son's home and severely injured a kitten. The kitten had to be euthanized. Adkins told deputies that he was angry with his son, and that it was better that he killed the cat and not his son. He was also arrested on an outstanding warrant accusing him of failing to appear in court to face a domestic violence complaint.
